Armstrong site redesign
The pioneer in floors, ceilings and cabinets got an updated look and navigation schema to enable easy access to its extensive home and commercial product lines, a new do-it-yourself application, Design My Room, and the site's first e-commerce capabilities.
My role: creative direction, information architecture, usability testing, wireframe development, design specifications

This innovative room makeover tool lets do-it-yourself home decorators to view Armstrong products in their own digital room settings.
My role: Planned and moderated multiple rounds of usability testing and worked closely with developers to ensure that the experience is engaging and easy to use.

Commercial site redesign
Armstrong's Commercial division set out to re-position and re-architect the ceiling and flooring sites to make product information and sample ordering more accessible to commercial customers, architects and contractors.
My role: Planned and moderated .card sorting and participatory design exercises with target customers; advised on site re-architecture based on findings.
